David Kading OD

Dr. David Kading received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry near Portland, Oregon. After graduation he completed a residency program emphasizing front of the eye disease, dry eye treatment, and fitting contact lenses for complex eye states and diseases. While a resident, he was chief of the contact lens department at the Portland VA Medical Center where he oversaw all of the contact lens treatments. His three practices in the Seattle area focus on Dry Eye, Specialty Lenses and Myopia Management. He co-owns Optometric Insights which is changing the way students and doctors perceive practice and dry eye. He performs research as part of the post graduate Residency that he hosts in Seattle. He lectures internationally and has written thousands of papers and articles. Dr. David Kading has been recognized as one of the top 50 optometry influencers of all time, as one of the top 250 innovators, and listed as one of the top 10 best practice in eyecare.
