Christine Sindt OD

Dr. Christine Sindt graduated from Ohio State University College of Optometry, in 1994. She completed her residency at the Cleveland Veterans Administration Medical Center. In 1995, Dr. Sindt joined the Faculty of the University of Iowa Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, where she is currently Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology and Director of the Contact Lens Service. She also serves as a consultant optometrist for the Iowa City Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Sindt is Chief Clinical Editor for Review of Optometry and serves a peer reviewer for several journals of ophthalmology. Dr Sindt holds 7 US patents and has over 150 publications. She is the inventor and founder of EyePrint Prosthetics. And obtained FDA approval of her process and design, and her designs are now in the global market.
