Anthony Mac OD

Dr. Anthony Mac is a native of Southern California, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Mac earned dual degrees in Doctor of Optometry and Master of Public Health from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Dr. Mac then went on to pursue a residency in Primary Care Optometry with an emphasis in Ocular Disease at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry. During his training, he completed clinical rotations in various sub-specialties, including cornea and external disease, perioperative care, glaucoma, retina, uveitis, and specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Mac currently practices at The Contact Lens Institute of San Antonio at Alamo Eye Care, providing specialty and medical contact lens care for patients with irregular corneas and ocular surface diseases. He is thrilled to be delivering specialty and comprehensive eye care to the San Antonio community.
